I'm researching motivation right now, as I listen to a "Maximizing Motivation" podcast. I think it's so critical to remember this, "there is a price you're paying for staying the way you are." This should fuel us in moments of defeat. I know that I started my fitness journey because I no longer wanted to feel the way I felt. I am listing those painful feelings of self-loathing before venturing into competing. When I dive into those memories, it is like a slap in the face! I remember so clearly that I'm making these sacrifices and working this hard for a reason. I NEEDED to have a different life then the one I was living. Sometimes revisiting why we started a goal, can be exactly what we need to refocus and reignite our passion.
