Parent Fail

Ok so I've posted my Elf on the Shelf calendar previously on the blog, and I've even purchased every item needed for our elf's escapades this month. We have been getting penny so excited for Phoebe to arrive tonight. I will be honest, I was feeling on top of my game when we were ready to bring crazy Phoebe out of her box....and then I freaking realize we lost Phoebe. I opened her box and that elf just up and dissappeared!!! I'm sure she got the shaft when it was time to put all the holiday decor away last year and perhaps ended up in the recycling bin. I do not know where that damn elf is. We looked everywhere! Bad side of living in Logan is we don't have a target, so no luck in just picking up another one!! Maybe ill find one somewhere tomorrow but we had no such luck tonight. Here's our attempt at covering our butts...
